Effective January 1, 2010, homestead exemptions have been increased.
The individual homestead increased from $50,000 to $75,000.
The couple or head of household homestead increased from $75,000 to $100,000.
The senior, disabled, or 55 years or older with limited income from $150,000 to $175,000.
